The starship Jupiter 42 is home to the five fun-loving, trouble-causing characters of TRIPPING THE RIFT. Run by anal-retentive Spaceship Bob, the spacecraft sees its fair share of drama and mischief. I'm Immature for my Age - I Love It!
Just the cover illustration is a pretty great review, The main characters will either seem awesome or offensive, and what you see is what you get. While it is likely age restricted, it is every naughty school boy's dream - an equal creative blend of gross-outs, jiggly fantasy women, bathroom humor and Sci-Fi horror and extreme comic violence. I haven't found an explanation as to why some small portions of it are in black & white, unless it was some sort of budget problem. Go on the animated adventures of Chode and his crew (including his much-smarter sexbot, 6) as they skewer every stereotype and prejudice of comic books, sci-fi and the USA in 30 minutes an episode. Not only do you get laughs but the extras include the people who make the characters come alive with voice and artwork - the ultimate adventure for any fanboy. Nothing is spared if the writers can think of it, from religion to sex to politics as the always-incorrect (but confident, criminal, and sneaky) Chode speaks his mind and looses his opinion about everything and everyone throughout the galaxy. Expect two things when you watch these shows - laughter and amazement that this is truly ADULT television with all that it implies - Chode opines on women, the NRA, PETA, beauty pagents, gays, and ... Review of the First Season
This has to be one of the funniest shows that I have ever seen. This show is a great mix of the wacky, mis-adventures that you see with The Simpsons, the crude/rude behavior that you see in South Park episodes, and has lots and lots of sexual themes to go with it. It's a great show and anyone who watches it will love it, as long as they like the above styles. The best thing about this set is the special bonus episdoe on disc 3, it's the premiere episode for the second season and it is freakin' sweet. Probably the funniest episode hands down. Anyway, the "cheap" price is the best thing about the show, and you get 13 episodes of gut-busting laughter.This has to be one of the funniest shows that I have ever seen. Trippin' is an excellent adventure for the kid in all adults. They rip into current topics and fads as they would be sometime in the future. All of man's vices seem to take flight into all alien cultures as Chode comes into contact with each character in his attempt to find alternatives (easier, cheaper, faster etc) out of his current situation. Lozza laughs in this one, the kind for no brainers however, stimulating to the thinking man as a what if senerio.Trippin' is an excellent adventure for the kid in all adults.
