Blast from the past.
Best retro Sega system on the market. Comparable to the Nintendo NES Classic system. On top of the many preloaded games you can play your cartridge games as well. Love the rewind and save options. You can now save your progress on games you couldn’t in the past. Wish I bought one sooner.

Great idea, but doesn't work as expected
The main reason I purchased this unit was for Shining Force. Unfortunately about 15 minutes into the game it freezes during the battles whenever you or the computer controlled characters cast any spells. Something that is unavoidable during the game and makes it completely unplayable. Probably fine if you just want a quick 5 minute fix of nostalgia, but investing any more time is risky. Support told me to unplug and reboot the system...as if they had never heard of this problem before, yet I found others had the exact same problem quite easily in social media. There is no way to apply patches or updates, so any problems like this are permanent.The main reason I purchased this unit was for Shining Force. Tons of games
CONS: The wireless joystick is a little slow (small time delay) and games freeze sometime. PROS: You can save every games on the internal memory chip. Graphics are great on my LED TV. Works with HDMI cable. Tons of games and years of pleasure ahead.

The controllers are well built. Good selection of games, but it is missing some of the best Genesis titles like beyond oasis and the street of rage series. The emulation is not 100% perfect but is still very good and not noticeable for most games except maybe the sonic ones where the scrolling is very fast.
