Great value spydy that's a workhorse!
Beautiful, but make sure you know that it's completely black. The blade is not the dark grey, it's striking black. While 8Cr13MoV is frowned upon a lot in todays knife market of super-steels, it's all in the heat treatment.... Spyderco's 8cr13mov takes a beating, holds a decent edge and is relatively easy to hone back to shaving sharp. It's a working steel, not like some of the powder steels which gets, "you just had a major operation" if you handle it wrong sharp.. Just, "ugh, I'm gonna need to superglue that up sharp" lol. This knife will perform well for a long time. If something tragic was to happen, it probably won't break the bank to replace it.... Oh, and a lot less crying... there I said it. Just a so so knife. Lightweight and easy to use but it feels flimsy. Pivot has started squeaking after just a few days.

Good knife for a very fair price. A lot of people see the foreign made label and stay away, but this knife is quality. I'm not a professional knife maker, but I have run maintenance on my pieces, and this one is very easy to maintain and also to customize as an intro to customizing. A little tuf glide and this bad boy was shooting out fast with a finger flick. Blade steel is ok, not the greatest but good for the price with g-10 scales. Good lock up and just a little blade play on the one I own. Good affordable knife from a great brand.Good knife for a very fair price. Super light and super steel
Razor sharp as you would expect from spyderco. Big knife but feels very light in the pocket. Ergonomic handle shape is a pleasure to hold. Knocked my Griptilian out of my pocket.

Great folding knife!
The famous budget spyderco folding knife looks even better in total black. It has a good, solid built and a very good finish (especially the blade!). Steel is 8Cr13Mov which is OK. Comes really sharp out of the box.
