    Solid feel, metal construction, impressive image quality.

    This is the earlier of Sony's two E-mount 18-200 mm lenses, and is the better of the two. While the newer version is more compact, it suffers from more chromatic aberration and softer focus in the corners than this original Sony lens. The newer one is mostly all plastic, and does not have the smooth mechanical feel of the older, metal lens. This is typical of Sony products. They put their heart and soul into their first round of a new product, and spend years finding ways to trim expenses and increase profits in the next rendition. Both models have a built in stabilizer, with the metal lens working just a tad smoother than the newer, plastic lens. This metal lens is mighty impressive looking no matter which E-series camera you mount it on, and just happens to take excellent, ...

    This lens has a quality feel, and makes my photos look better under the same conditions, compared to the 16-55 lens that comes with most Sony’s

    This lens is a great lens, I was so lucky to have one, though it thoroughly used by the owner but I brush it up and it becomes very neat again.

    This lens it so sharp with excellent image quality, I will still buy one more since I'm not shooting internal sports.
