I enjoy Geraldine McEwan's portrayal of Miss Marple. She has a delightful twinkle in her eye and you know there is a LOT going on behind those eyes!
I am collecting all the Marple episodes with all 3 stars. This was a new product (I was expecting a used one), and it was great fun watching the episodes. The delivery was quick and reasonably priced.

Great classical puzzles for traditionalists
Practically a lifelong Christie fan, and that's been a long time, I enjoy most of the British productions of her works. These are very well done and don't tinker too much with the actual meat of the original books. Production values are excellent and the portrayals of characters offer more than just the answer to "whodunnit."

Agatha Christie's Miss Marple - Series 3
A long time reader of the brilliant Agatha Christie mystery books, I love the movies. I usually re-read the book and then watch the movie. The period pieces are done in beautifully decorated homes, full of antiques with rich designs. The cast of characters usually stretch from the rich to the poor each with unique personalities. The characters quirks and flaws are sometimes subtely mentioned adding to the mystery at hand. You must pay careful attention not to miss any hints as to what is actually happening in the story.
