Product Information

Anton is a teenage stoner who, one Halloween season, realizes two days after the fact that his parents have been beheaded. He is even more disturbed to learn that the culprit may be his recently demon-possessed hand.     Idle Hands (1999,dvd)

    I just bought Idle Hands because Jessica Alba had a small part in it. My expectations for the movie weren't very high because most horror movies that have comedy in them usually suck,but I wasn't pleasantly surprised. The movie had a pretty decent plot to it. Seth Green was pretty funny in it,and Devon Sawa was good in the main role of the idle hand that killed his parents,and his two best friends. The only downside of the movie was terrible performance by Vivica A Fox,but it didn't ruin the movie. This was a surprising well done and entertaining movie if you are a fan of horror movies. Also of note is a topless scene by Kelly Monaco(Sam) of General Hospital.

    Great movie of a generation!

    I had watched the movie awhile back when I was a teenager growing up. It was one of the first movies I can recall seeing Seth Green and Jessica Alba in before they became A-list... hell... before anybody really knew their name. It appeals to the stoner croud because the main character is a stoner; it appeals to the gear head crowd, cause even a Chevy fan has got to appreciate a nicely-lifted Ford; and it appeals to the horror buff crowd because youve got a great example of suspense, gore, and even mystery. Its a great low-budget movie without the crappy camera angles.

    Instant classic

    I remember watching this movie when it first came out on VHS around 9 years ago and it is one of those comedy horrors that just works. I have been trying to find it on DVD for a while now, and that was not an easy task so i had to source it from the USA. The picture quality and sound is so much better and thus my fellow watchers and I can appreciate the humour all the better. if you have not seen this movie and you are a fan of the cheesy horrors like Scream and i know what you did Last Summer etc, then I am sure you'll enjoy this flick. I would call it a cult classic.

    Sleeper/Underrated

    Don’t read to much in to the online reviews of this movie. This movie is straight up entertaining. It’s as easy to watch as Sunday cartoons. Get your hands on it!
