    EBS Multicomp

Was skeptical, I don't normally use any pedals while playing Bass. Our drummer suggested a compressor to even out the spikes when I play aggressive. This pedal works! I have it on all the time now. Very happy with it.

  • Unrivalled stompbox compressor, hefty price-tag but mostly worth it!

Bought this for the multi-band mode as I have been unhappy with all other compression I have used on bass. All three modes are very good, my favourite would be tubesim mode for getting a really round B-15 style tone and MB mode for tighter playing and slap. I wish the pedal had an attack or blend knob as even the MB mode can get quite squashy on the front when you dig in, would be nice to be able to preserve the transient a bit. Seems kinda weird that the gain is post compression (make-up gain) with no option to add gain at the front to get the same compressor response from louder and softer basses. This is far and away the best stompbox compressor I have ever heard for bass.

  • Excellent piece of gear!

Does wonders for your bass sound. Focusses and gives great depth. The Swedes at EBS are very helpful as well. (Note: be sure to use their ac adapter.) For a great tube sound, also check out their Valve Drive. Tack så mycket, EBS!

  • The best comp pedal period

Simply the best compressor pedal I’ve ever used. It comes at a hefty price tag but totally worth every penny. Very clear, focused and warm sounding pedal. Other compressor pedals out there will color your tone and squash your signal. This pedal just simply make your instrument sound better than ever! Just do it, buy it now!

  • Great pedal... simple and effective

I'd used a Boss M50B for a few years, and it had the potential to everything one could ask... but in reality I simply used the compressor function and as a tuner. I also play keyboard and guitar, and real estate on my pedal board is at a premium. So I got this and a Peterson tuner, and I have to say the compresspr has exceeded my expectations. The tube setting provides a really warm sound, and the compression is better than the Boss. All in all I sound better, and have reduced the footprint of my gear in the process. Yes, I'd buy it again. Quality seems top notch. Value... its expensive for a single stomp box, but worth every penny.
