Good Value and very eye catching
This is a great value phone which is still snappy and capable of playing the high RAM demanding games. The cameras on the device are average but they get the job done. The dual speakers are powerful and I often find myself just using them as opposed to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. The fingerprint scanner and lock button are located on the side, and the finger print scanner is very precise. As a result of the body of the phone being plastic, I decided to purchase a rubber bumper case just in case I drop I did drop it. I also invested in a tempered glass screen protector to keep my phone's actual screen in a crystal clear condition. Overall, I am very pleased with the phone so far and I believe it is a good daily driver. The battery is the only pitfall to this device, but I am usually ... Worth the price, but has room for improvement!
I love this phone. For the price you are paying this phone for, it is worth every dollar. Just to list some of the positives about this phone is that the cloud storage really works, phone size is just right, brilliant design, the camera is better than I anticipated and color options are spot on. Having said that, the Robin still has room for improvement. Bigger processor (the phone can't handle Pokémon go), the battery life is a bummer, and the dual speakers are just not loud enough.I love this phone. For the price you are paying this phone for, it is worth every dollar. End of life but going strong
There is a risk in picking up an end-of-life product, as Razer bought out Nextbit Robin. If you are technically competent and don't mind researching potential problems and solutions with your browser, this is an excellent value (at around $125 with an ebay discount, $140-$150 normally) for a mid to high-end phone. I bought it as a present for my wife, who appreciates the mint/turquoise color and styling, not to mention features on the phone. She was moving from a Lumia 640, a Windows phone that is rapidly fading into obscurity and Android seemed like a better choice than iOS. Fast processor, more than average memory (3 Gb), and fingerprint sensor on the power button on the side make it easy to like. Didn't like the contrast on the screen with the standard background (for older eyes) ... There is a risk in picking up an end-of-life product, as Razer bought out Nextbit Robin. Unlocked (and unlocked bootloader) it works with T-mobile, AT&T and their associated GSM MVNOs, it uses a fairly plain version of Android and updated itself to Nougat which seems stable so far. It doesn't have an SD slot, but my wife doesn't take a lot of pictures or store a large music collection so may not need to activate the 100 Gb of online storage (which might go away). Battery life is probably adequate but not suited to a heavy user. However she is not a heavy user and gets about 2 days between charges. Compared to mid-level phones which cost even more (Moto G was my other consideration) this is a winner.
