The brains behind casual hits Bejeweled and Peggle take on "tower defense" strategy as anthropomorphic flowers square off against reanimated corpses in Plants vs. Zombies. "Adventure" mode finds players strategically placing weapon-wielding plants to cut down 26 different kinds of comical undead, including zombie pole-vaulters, zombie dolphins, "Zomboni" drivers, and the ever-dangerous zombie bobsled team.<br><br>Zombies come in all different strengths and speeds, so gamers must place a variety of different plants in strategic areas to ensure that no zombies may munch on the delicious brains that dwell just within the front door. Luckily, players are armed with an arsenal of more than 40 different plants, including pea shooters, cherry bombs, and potato mines. But greens and seeds are in short supply, and rolling fog, the setting sun, and backyard swimming pools only add to the challenge, so gamers must be judicious when doling out vegetable justice.<br><br>Players can also try their hand at "Mini-Games," "Puzzle," "Survival," and "Zen Garden" game modes. The "Game of the Year -- Limited Edition" includes a collectible plastic zombie doll and adds a new "Zombatar" mode that allows for the creation of unique zombie avatars.

    Good, clean fun for the family

    Bought this game for my kids. I got involved with it too! It has some "violence" but for the most part it is a safe family game. It is refreshing to get a game that involves strategy, fun and learning. Strengths, in my opinion, are: *can be played on PC, without internet. *Makes the players "think" *Has 50 levels and other variables which should take quite some time to master. *Was relatively inexpensive

    I love this game! Have it on Kindle but love the PC version! The picture is very clear and the game is easy enough for my 5 year old and also challenging enough for myself at 33 years of age. This game has had me hooked for two years now and I can't get enough.

    this game has it all...funny

    this is a great game The sounds and music are very cool, too. ,challenging,variet​y,humor,fustration,surprise,am​azement!! it keeps going even after you think you know what's up..it changes the rules! it's like every video game you've ever seen, yet unlike anything you've ever played!! no wonder it's the game of the year!!

    Awesome product!Great value for the money!!

    The kids love this game.They can change the way the zombie looks,which they love.Also it keeps them busy for hours at a time and out of my hair.Ages are from 10 to 15 years old.No complaints about the game at all,family fun.We even put the game up on our 52 inch LCD big screen,which is totally awesome!!!Nice game Pop Cap.....
