Though it can be expensive, the Nintendo Brand Memory cards as well as other authorized brands such as Nyko and Mad Catz work great for either the Nintendo GameCube or with the Nintendo Wii when playing GameCube games. I highly recommend only using one of these because a generic memory card (like most of those sold on eBay) can cause a LOT more headache than it is worth. IMPORTANT WARNING - The main issue with most generic, unbranded memory card is that they lack a grounding plate! Both Nintendo branded cards and off-brand cards have a grounding plate as an ungrounded memory module will cause a short and eventually DESTROY the electronics when plugged into the machine! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION AND MEASURES SHOULD BE TAKEN TO PREVENT FAKES FROM BEING SOLD ON EBAY! This ...
