Honestly this drive isn't too bad for the low price. Kingston's a reliable brand I've used for both consumer and enterprise purposes. It may not be as fast as some other solid state disks on the market, however for the price you really cannot get a better performance with the same capacity. The drive maintains a cool 36C temperature and performs as it should, 200MB/s+. If you're looking for a good solid state disk, then fret not, for buying Kingston is always a great option!Honestly this drive isn't too bad for the low price. Bought it to upgrade a really old MacBook Pro with a failing mechanical drive. Made a new laptop out of it. Performance terrific, drive easy to install and works great, especially at such a great price.

Great SSD, quiet and fast
the SSD drive needs to be formatted and partitioned via the win10 Disk Management tool. only took a few minutes to get it ready to load. I loaded win10 to it in amazing time. nice and quiet and doesn't produce much heat. fit perfectly in my 2017 laptop. I looked at Kingston's web page for Registration , but I don't think they have that. Probably the worst part of this is getting it out of it's plastic retail shell it's packaged in.the SSD drive needs to be formatted and partitioned via the win10 Disk Management tool. only took a few minutes to get it ready to load. I loaded win10 to it in amazing time. nice and quiet and doesn't produce much heat. fit perfectly in my 2017 laptop. Faster SSD to replace standard laptop HD
This SSD is a perfect replacement for the standard HD in most laptops. As SSD are faster than standard drives this is one way to get better performace out of an older laptop. The difference in performanace is clearly noticeable and welcomed.
