Ah, King of Fighters. A game series that isn't as superior as Capcom's street fighter series but it is loved by Fighting Fanatics worldwide. SNK is a game company that started creating games in the late 70's and early 80's their first game is "VanGuard" a well known shooter for classic gamers. Many years later they released "Fatal Fury" which was (not many know this) the first "King of fighters" title. However this was not included in the collection because SNK made KOF into it's own franchise without the Fatal Fury story line. King Of Fighters Orochi Saga collection contains the first 5 games in the "Orochi" story line. KOF 94,95,96,97 and 98 are all included in this massive package along with a "Challenge" mode to keep you playing. 2-D fighters are known for excellent replay value and ... Ah, King of Fighters. You have Ryo,Takuma Sakazaki and Robert Garcia from the "Art Of Fighter series" You also have Terry and Andy bogard along with Joe Higashi from Fatal fury! Plus many,many more. My major Gripe about KOF Orochi saga is the balance issue in 94 and 95. The cpu will beat you relentlessly especially the final boss, Rugal Bernstein is the hardest SNK boss in the KOF series. You'll lose your temper because the only way to beat him is through cheap tatics that are stupid to find. Graphics and animation are top notch,Sound and music are excellent with very memorable tunes, I wished you could have had the remixed OST's like you did in ports for home system of later KOF games though. Using the Classic Controller on the wii version is a must, it's a pefect and flawless way of playing KOF. This collection is worth the money and a lot of fun to play. If you got friends that are fighter junkies. Grab them all and beat each other senseless with the orochi collection, I am a proud owner of it and you should be to!

Great game to buy if you like fighting games
I decided to buy The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (Wii, 2008)because my husband said it used to be one of his favorite games. Our son is also interested in fighting games. I was excited to see the different version thing they had on there. Also it is very cool how the controllers can be different types. You don't have to have a different controller, like the classic controller, the standard wii remote turned sideways can be used. Overall I think it is a great game. Especially if you liked playing it when you were younger like my husband and I.I decided to buy The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (Wii, 2008)because my husband said it used to be one of his favorite games.
