    A Warm Memoir about a Grand Prix Champion

    Fangio: A Pirelli Album is a 168 page work from Motorbooks International from 1991. The book was authored by grand prix great Stirling Moss, a one time team-mate and rival of Juan Manuel Fangio (five times World Champion in Grand Prix competition) and Doug Nye. This coffee table sized work is done in homage to Fangio's 80th birthday and while other works may have more detail or substance in documenting Fangio's illustrious career this one truly captures the essence of Fangio, with his charismatic smile and tobacco brown helmet. Moss ensures that the work will have personal stories of great charm and a selection of candid photos that document Fangio the man, in addition to documenting the wide range of cars which Fangio drove, from the Fords and Chevrolets in the epic South American road ...
