Minolta 50mm Prime f/1.7 MD Lens
I absolutely love this lens!!! My satisfaction could only be improved if i'd got a brand new one! I'm currently using it on a D3100 with MD to Nikon Adapter. Stick the your camera on manual and away you go. This lens has a 49mm filter thread for all your filter needs (its cheap enough to buy step up rings), it has an aperture ring and a focus ring. It has distance markings on which is great for shooting from the hip (if you need to). Depth of field range is awesome, you can achieve some amazing foreground and background blur. The only bad thing I have to say about this lens is that it doesn't have a zoom, lol, which it isn't supposed to otherwise it wouldn't be a Prime lens! Excellent Quality, I managed to get a used one so got myself a bargain at £15, think you can still get them for ... I absolutely love this lens!!! If mine broke, quick as a shot, i'd buy another one exactly the same and i'd probably pay upto £50 for it, any lens for less than £50 must be a bargain!
