My first GPS
(+)small, lightweight, works well with my PC laptop, waterproof/shock proof (tested these both on a rainy day), seems to get me within 30 feet of the geocaches that I've found, intuitive controls are simple to use even with gloves on, great deal for the price (-) battery life is touted at 28 hours (more like 16)if used in the when its not sunny out, the coverage its spotty under tree coverage and tall buildings, base map is adequate for use, should come bundled with better maps. Overall would recommend for beginner with stipulation on buying upgrade for the mapping software. Best outdoor gps ever!!!
I love this gps. i take it on canoe trips several imes a year. It is so helpful and easy to use. It provides me with so much useful information. It is waterproof and shock proof too. I love it!!! I will never go on another float trip again without it.
