A Marx 1666 unit that was very well crafted,functions great,and smoked like no other.Generally very affordable,and easy track and run,with good pulling ability.With features like forward,reverse,head light,2 4 2 configuration,and puffing smoke.And a value with long haul or slope tender.Onr can never go wrong with a Marx unit.

Marx loco 1666 plastic housing
It’s a cute little locomotive. But feels like a toy compared to Lionel. Once cleaned and lubed it pulled 7-8 postwar Lionel cars. Surprised me. It smokes really good for 2 minutes. But fluid runs out on bottom of engine. Sparks a lot when running. I call it Sparky.
