    Slow down load, poor quality game performance!

    I was excited about playing Pacific Fighters, from what was advertised. Disc 2 of my Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 WWII Pacific Theater game quite working, so I bought this game. Strategic Simulations Pacific Fighters is slow to down load. I had to take my computer and this game to a computer shop, where they changed the game's operating format to properly work on my system. I deleted most of my hard drive & disabled my virus software trying to improve game performance, nothing helped. I have other flight simulator games from Jane's & Micorsoft, which worked out of the box. This game doesn't have the ease of use or control capabilities of other fighter simulation games.

    Great father and son time. Best Win-XP 32 bit game around. Love it!!!

    My 14 year old son and I love to play this game together. We loaded it on 2 pc's running win XP 32 bit OS. After starting the game on one pc wtih the disk, we put the disk in the other pc and start it there. It is one of the most fun and educational games to play. He learns about the battles fought and the cost of freedom. Lots of action too. My son likes to use a joy stick to play this game, I like to use the key-board. It works great either way. U need to add a control to remove the chock blocks when taking off from an aircraft carrier or u won't be able to take off. U can eazily change control settings to your liking. Have fun!

    A Fun Game and easy setup

    I like flight sims anyway but this one is easy to use and a whole lot of fun. It really wasn't intended for Vista but with a tweak here and a compatability adjustment there it runs fine.

    pacific fighters (pc games)

    The game itself is excellent. The graphics, historical subjects and the limitations of the subjects within the game are all accurate. I have the other pc games that this particular campany has produced and I think this games is step above there past works. My only problem with the software is I need to add more beef to my computer to handle the processing of the game but that is of no fault of the software. It was a great buy and I am completely satisfied.

    Pacific Fighter

    As real as it gets for a flight simulator. I am pilot and this has got to be the best simulator on the market. You can control everything aspect of the flight. The carrier landing are a rush! This game is a must for anyone who loves flying!
