Early Elvis, the hardcover book, is one of a series of three written by Bill E. Burk. This book is an interesting read that take the time to obtain statements/information from the sources themselves (i.e. relatives, friends of elvis, etc.). It offers a "fresh perspective" in the manner in which you actually hear it from the "memory/eye/mouth" of those who knew Elvis, loved Elvis, for the person he was...offstage. This book is a MUST READ for any/all Elvis fans seeking to "peek" behing the myth/curtain/hype of the life, and legacy, of Elvis Presley. Fortunately EBay, and thank you for that, has many SIGNED copies of Early Elvis available. I HIGHLY encourage everyone to seek out the signed copies if possible. Early Elvis allows us more insight into the upbrining, and enviroment, that Elvis ... Early Elvis, the hardcover book, is one of a series of three written by Bill E. Burk. Time has taken so many of them away from us, since this book was written, that we are fortunate that this book exists so that we can revist the words of the "witnesses" and not rely on our memories. I enjoyed this book and the photos enclosed in the book (many of which have never been seen before and not published elsewhere).
