    Bigger than expected

    Okay so I ordered a 25w thinking it was going to fit my small 3.5g but it ended up being a little bigger than expected. I guess I should have read more into the specs for dimensions. But fortunately for me I have another aquarium which is much larger and needed a heater with more accurate manual adjustments so this is doing the job more than perfect. The light that indicates it is heating is really big and bright so you know when it is on. And the water is very close to perfect on indication when it comes to temperature, basically what reads on the heater is what is on the thermometer. And it has a gorgeous shape, so I really recommend this sturdy heater.

    Quality Long Length Heater For Smaller Tanks

    This 25 watt aquarium heater appears to be well-made and is maintaining my 5 gallon tank at 76°F. This is a long heater, probably about 10.5 inches. In a 5 gallon aquarium installed vertically (which is what instructions show), this controls are above the water level to prevent sinking heater into gravel bed. But that's okay as long as minimum water level is met.

    great heater

    Have you seen this heater? It is far beefier than any heater I've seen. I bought a used 55 g with an Aquen 300w heater. I don't know how old it is - 2 yrs, but it is old looking and the spring wires inside of glass worried me. So Eheim says a 150w will heat a 55 so I bought it. It does and I feel safer for me and my fish. I own 9 of these heaters. Yes, I love them.
