    Closer to the 80;s

    J Geils was on the brink of 80's success with the release of Monkey Island. The had not compromised their sound for a hit song but I DO is a stand out on this album. I don't feel this album is as good as the previous releases but is still full of good songs.

    Nice remastered CD by J Geils Band

    Love this CD. It was one of Geils' lesser works, but my favorite. Two songs stand out as outstanding on this CD, "I Do", a great remake, and "Monkey Island" which is in my opinion, J Geils best song, although unlike most of their other stuff.

    Good old Music

    I grew up with this type of music and was happy to find this cd.I had this a while back and was an album witch was destroyed during a house fire so when I ran across I just had to have this Cd.

    Monkey Island - J. Geils Band CD

    I bought this because I needed it in my collection. This is vintage J Giles at their best. The title track alone is worth the price if admission. If you are a fan than this CD is for you.
