Currently for posing or modeling and life likeness, this is the best out there for this body type. Durable? You can do a search online and will see that the material on these dolls have a shelf life. Expect one or two years. Expect small tears etc. However, within that time you will have a great and cheap model/mannequin to use for anatomical studies or photography work. I highly recommend this product. Hopefully their company will continue to improve on the products durability. You can see from generation to generation it has gotten better. I bought this to use as a drawing reference, and my expectations are completely surpassed. I've never seen anything quite like it.. The soft flesh responds to posing with realistic creases, folds, flexing and compression.. It's unbelievably lifelike and I'm really impressed. The skeleton is excellent, and seems very sturdy. The joints all move effortlessly, yet stay exactly how you put them, supporting the figure's weight in any pose.. The silicon body will require care to avoid puncture or tearing, but caution should help prolong it's lifespan..
