I understand all of the contributions that founding member Roger Walters made to Pink Floyd (Songwriting, vocals, bass guitar). But he should have realized that no one is irreplaceable. The other members of Pink Floyd proved that with the release of this album. With guitarist David Gilmore performing the lion's share of songwriting and vocals, "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" is a damn fine album. Supported by such brilliant songs as "Learning to Fly", "The Dogs of War", and "On the Turning Away", this album compares favorably to previous Pink Floyd albums.
