Fortunately WD has a great support staff which after some time has talked me through the setup process. There is one small problem we are working on, but I am confident they will get me through it all. thanks, bob PS: this is the second WD product I have purchased: I also have a MY Book Essential which I had no difficulty setting up by myself and had been using for many years without a single problem and never had to call support. Great Little Drive
Have been using one of these drives for a couple years as a "traveling" laptop backup drive. It has been trouble free, rugged and reliable.
