About this product

Product Information

Bandai's alternate-dimensional digital monsters return to 128-bit generation consoles in this role-playing release. Unlike most previous games of the franchise, Digimon World 4 offers a real-time combat system and a multiplayer mode that supports up to four, for a hack-and-slash Gauntlet-style adventure featuring 16 of the most popular Digimon from the animated television series. Access to the real world has been cut off, but a portal to a strange unknown world has just been discovered, and must be explored. As they make their way through the game, characters can collect new weapons and armor, and of course, unlock new Digievolutions.

    pretty fun game

    This is a pretty good product. Not what I thought it would be but still fun anyway. I would've liked the game to have had more of the special attacks instead of using weapons, but it was still fun to play. I bought this product because I used to love Digimon and thought this would be a fun game to play. I have other digimon games for Ninendo Ds and think that those games are a little better but I still enjoy playing this one. I also probably would've liked this better if you could digivolve like in the shows. In this game, I haven't been able to and don't know if I ever will. Other than the attacking and digivolving it is a very fun and enjoyable game.

    Horribly designed game. Terrible play.

    Overall: What a disappointment. This game was apparently rushed out the door with so little effort at polish that it is nothing but a waste of time and money. They made a half-hearted attempt at twitch-gameplay which comes off poorly. New Player Experience: This game is virtually unplayable. The instructional dialogs are simultaneously WAY too long and incapable of actually teaching you how to play. There is nothing resembling a guided learning curve, just a blob of text howto's right at the beginning and some test areas that do little to actually indoctrinate you in the use of strategy. Graphics: Visually it's okay. PS2 quality graphics that are below the standard for XBox. Gameplay: Anyplace they could introduce complexity into the control scheme, they did so, despite the fact that it ...

    Wish I played this when I was younger!

    Great Game In The Series A Side From World 2 And 1. Loved This Game And Forgot Why I Sold so since i was buying an xbox and this was so low i thought i bid on it.

    Digimon World 4

    I do like this game I have it for Gamecube, PS2 and 360. I am however sad that this 1 will not work on a 360. The playing it on a Wii is also problematic. But if you have a old PS3 It will play fine.
