The Ingersoll Rand Model 2141 Is A Great Medium Duty 3/4" Impact Wrench For All Seasons And Many Reasons
Ingersoll Rand 2141 3/4" impact wrench is a sleeper good value. This 6-vane rotor driven tool uses the same vanes as the 2145QiMAX and 1" drive 2155QiMAX. Swap out the 2141 6-vane rotor with the 2145-53 7-vane rotor and add the 7th vane to get 150 foot pounds more torque from this 2141 beast tool. The hammer case on the 2141 is heavy duty and much more sturdy for abusive handling than the 2145QiMAX. Light and nimble (for its bare weight of 8 pounds and size) the 2141 is quiet and powerful as it is configured. Push button red forward and reverse buttons allow for one hand switching and trigger control. 4 stage power regulator control is done by rotating the red control knob on the back. 1350 foot pounds of reverse torque with a tool that weighs 9.5 pounds with a socket attached. The anvil and hammers are unique to this tool model while the same 2141-A703 hammer frame is employed on the 2145QiMAX and 2155QiMAX tools. Reliable and well made replacement parts are readily available from both Ingersoll Rand and from suppliers of aftermarket parts. The 2141 tool is originally produced in China under Ingersoll Rand supervision and control. The enduring hammer case on the model 2141 is not interchangeable with the 2145QiMAX. The OEM 2141 hammer case is a plus factor in the mind of loyal 2141 tool owners over the 2145QiMAX models with a lighter, much cheaper and weaker Titanium housing.

Light weight and powerful. Good quality. Power is equivalent or better than 261 model but weighs less. 261 is probably more durable due to being a metal housing but thats the trade off for less weight. If your debating between the 2141 and 2145 I'd just go with whichever is cheaper. I've had both and the only real difference is the housings and the 2145 has 7 vanes vs 6 vanes but it really doesn't make any more power that you can tell. If anything my 2141 felt more powerful to me.Light weight and powerful. Good quality.
