Shawl in a Ball IS a Ball to Work With
I love the Shawl in a Ball. Each time I use it I have just enough to finish a lovely size shawl, Although it is marked with a #4 weight label, it is so light and fine to use. It creates a beautiful lightweight piece, more like a #3 or even a #2. The color gradient is gradual with long colorways, blending into each other. They are just gorgeous and so soft. I have used it for several different crochet patterns, not just the ones on Lion Brand's site and have been happy with the results. I have been crocheting for 60 years and teach crochet at 2 venues. I have not used it in a knitting project as yet, but I imagine it would work just as well and have even more yardage to use.I love the Shawl in a Ball.
