    netgear cable modem cm500

    its a good cable modem always have internet connection and easy to set up. you need your internet account and password. and reboot the modem two times and it connect to Comcast . this is a cable modem only. if you want wireless internet ,you need an WIRELESS ROUTER. IM USING MY OLD DLINK DIR-655 IT WORK GREAT.

    Easy to set up, works well, but has an irritating feature

    It performs as its instruction manual says it should, however its internet light blinks orange nonstop when your speed is 100 mbps or less, as if there is a problem. However I just purchase 150 mbps from my ISP, and oftentimes it doesn't reach 100 mbps, so this is normal. When there isn't a problem, the modem shouldn't blink like there is one.

    Not as advertised but working.

    Very easy to install and set up. Only problem it was not what I needed. I needed a Modem/Router which I bought. I have no plans on returning this because it was my ignorance of what I needed. My only complaint was it was listed as new and in sealed box. The box was sealed but upon opening the box it was a different story. The power cord was unwrapped, the cables were loose and the bag around the unit was ripped open with protective tapes removed. Not sure if this unit was used or not, but was NOT in new condition or SEALED in any way that matters. Had it really been sealed as stated I would have given a 5 star. I did give it 3 stars because after all is said and done it did work.

    Netgear CM500 modem

    A GREAT Modem and it does not overheat as some reviews stated, in fact it only gets a little warm. As stated in above questions: It was easy to set up, a VERY GOOD value and it performs well. It is all that anyone should need or expect.
