    It is worth the money.

    It is advertised on the image on the web as "wide screen" while it isn't. The disc is not labeled. The construction of the video is simple with no chapters. Otherwise, it is a good reproduction.

    Worse quality DVD I ever saw.

    This DVD was marked as a run time of 114 minutes this is the run time of the much better color version in 1960. The run time of this 1940 film is 78 minutes. I doubt if this was a mistake. It is a B&W movie but the quality of the B&W is terrible. The contrast was very low and the definition was poor also. I have many DVD's of my own going back to the 1920's and they show well. I teach film classes on the continuing education program of a local university. This DVD showed poorly on my TV and I would never think about trying to project this to a class

    This classic musical should be in everyone's collection who's a fan of the genre . The scene where all newly married men get turned into bodybuilders is worth the price of admission all by itself .
