    Just what I needed - one minor gripe because of how I use them

    I use this plug to close the bottom of a composting tube in the center of a strawberry barrel. The previous plug I tried had something of a wedge shape and could not be tightened enough to prevent it falling out due to the weight of the scraps and water I add. This plug is a simple compression seal and works nicely. The minor gripe - when I used a crescent wrench to tighten the wing nut, the wing broke off. I replaced it with a standard nut and that solved the problem. Ordering more now.
