    Lightweight DVD pack with several Peter Ustinov "Hercule Poirot" movies.

    Great example of a non-State actor solving problems when the State cannot; here's hoping such fictitious examples lead to more widespread adoption of private security firms (Dispute Resolution Organizations) across the world, further rending the State, all States, obsolete in the real-world!

    Poirot in the 1980"s....why?

    Oh dear... The three stories in this collection were originally published in 1933, 1934, and 1956 respectively. The charm of seeing an Agatha Christie story turned into a film (or television), production has always been the nuances of the time period associated with the story. For example; the clothes, the automobiles, the quant villages, societal expectations, morals, etc. However, the producers in this case (three films), have decided, unwisely, to transport Hercule Poirot, through time, into the 1980's! The results are simply ghastly. Imagine Poirot in Acapulco? How about Poirot appearing on the David Frost Show? No. The little gray cells do not comprehend.     Quality entertainment worth watching more than once

    What's not to like? Even though I've seen each of the movies a few times, I still find them engaging and see things that I missed before. The acting is better than most of the newer stuff that they throw at us in recent years. The DVDs worked great and were reasonably priced.
