        Brooks makes good shoes

        These shoes are as good as previous Brooks I've worn. They are a good fit, well padded, and comfortable for walking. Being made of leather they should be warm winter shoes. They only problem I have with them is the noise (somewhere between a squeak and a squish) when I walk. I've tried softening the tongues, tightening the laces, and using different insoles; sone of which have made much difference. Any suggestions for eliminating the noises they make would be appreciated.
