        Man/Myth/Legend

First of all I am a huge fan of Hunter S Thompson!...so I was really just getting these items to add to my collection. As a person HST is an extremely interesting person & as a writer he has an outside-the-box point of view. GONZO is about the man/myth/legend, while Fear & Loathing is a prime example of his writing...watch the movie or read the books, you won't b disappointed!

Don’t knock it til you tried it

Although very well written, I’m not sure it’s all true. Parts of this book seem highly fictionalized to me. In real life 1971 he probably would have overdosed, killed in a car crash, arrested by the police or gotten his clock cleaned by someone he pissed off. I’m still wondering why people seem to be very impressed by this book.

      • Good condition over all, except a few pages.

Most of the pages are intact, but the first four pages are stained with what seems to be a shoeprint and a big brown stain. Also there is a piece of paper missing on the first page. The rest of the book is in a pretty good condition. Can't wait to dive in.
