        The radios arrived with their CHARGING bases. The units didn’t charge. Open the radios to find regular alkaline batteries inside. Charging an alkaline battery is a big no-no. Some of the batteries had ruptured and damaged the radios. This information was not provided in the listing. I reached out to the seller and he ignored my message regarding this.  I will buy new rechargeable batteries, and hope the radios actually work.

        A little complicated

        We wanted something that is easy to use. This unit does much more than we simpletons needed. The written instructions were totally useless, so we called customer support. The tech support guy walked us through how to use the units...yes, he was wonderful and in 10 minutes had us very happy wit our units. Our only hope is that we have half of the range promised. Time will tell.

        Good radio

        We still run deer dogs at my hunting club we use walkie talkies to talk to each other and figure out where the dogs are going , our club is hilly so sometimes you can get in a bottom and cant get out very well . But that's any radio in that part of the world. They do work better than others I've had.

        Nice simple radio

        Great radio for my kids. Being waterproof and well built make it a great choice for kids. I also like the yellow color to make it easier to spot if dropped. I added the speaker/mic and found it makes the audio both transmitting and receiving much better. It also allows me to strap them on my kids packs so they don't get lost.

        Great sound quality, better than the midland or other brands I've seen around. Rugged, waterproof, dust proof make it ideal for outdoors/camping trips. Super easy to use by non intuitive users as well. Highly recommend compared to other makes/models.

        Great radios for the job site and the fair

        I am a Chief Inspector on a construction site and these radios are perfect for my work. They are very clear throughout the job site and hold a charge for more than 14 hours. The pocket clips could use a little upgrade. I have had the clip portion that inserts into the back of the radio break on two of my radios. That is a minor thing to me. We also used two of the radios when we took the family to the Texas State Fair. They were very useful in locating my daughter and her family when we were separated. I have had the same radios for several years and just recently purchased four more for the job site and will recommend these to anyone looking for a decent set of radios that are rugged and waterproof.
