        Very entertaining

        I first saw this movie back in the early 80s. The actors that were picked by producers were perfect. Even though an aircraft carrier doesn't normally go through a portal back in time, in reality, this particular story was quite exceptional. I especially liked it because it was partially filmed in my hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. I am sure that any Sci Fi enthusiast will enjoy this movie!

        The Final Countdown

        The second half of the video skipped real bad you would miss whole 10-15 minutes sections. It wasn't from scratches the video didn't have any scratches on it it's a flawed in the Digital Data on the disc. I've seen the movie before and it's a great movie but the discs when they was made in the factory has some flaw in it. Movie good disc bad.

        Great old movie

        I saw this movie whem it came out in the 80s. Had a vhs copy for years. This new digital dvd is ao much clearer and better. A classic.

        Absolutely excellent "what if" promise… Must see!

        Basically, he state of the art aircraft carrier loaded with the most modern equipment, technologies and fighting force are somehow teleported to December 6, 1941 and have the opportunity to change history with a 40+ year jump on technology to help! Very good story, great acting and a fascinating ending which leaves you wanting more… 👍👍EXCELLENT PURCHASE!!👍👍
