        Great unit... MISERABLE support.

        Microtik doesn't care if you live or die. They refused to help me with a VERY basic question by asking for a data upload from my switch, then never responding again. I will never buy another Microtik product, but the switch does work well. Their OS is extremely complicated, so if you're up for a challenge, go for it.

        Great switch but read the instructions

        These are excellent little switches when they can be had at a fair price. I have never had an issue with transceiver compatibility. If you are new to MicroTik products PLEASE read the instructions or review the wiki. Logging on to the interface for the first time requires either a computer set with a specific static IP to match what the switch / router comes with from the factory or connecting via Winbox. I use the Winbox method. Once logged in you can either change it to grab an IP address via DHCP or set a static IP that works with your network.

        Good Item!

        It's smaller than the 8-port Gigabit switching hub, and the temperature is stable at about 47 to 50 degrees. Speaking of concern, the AC adapter is at the limit of the power consumption of this product, and the position of the LED is bad. Other than that, there is no problem so far. It is a product that I would recommend to everyone.
