        Excellent Movie, easy on the Trashy Stuff

        Back when Movies needed a PG or G Rating, to maximize attendance. Limited objectionable content that is the 'norm' today. Limited foul language. Great storyline, and Yes the Good Guys Win - but pay a price. AC-3 Soundtrack very enjoyable on my retro-90's 5.1 A/V System.

        Great underwater adventure,good adapt from the novel of the same title name.

        Unfortunately Columbia Pictures (Sony ) didn't invested time and money in adding special features to this movie. Seems now is not popular as was 40 years ago...

        The deep . A deep sea adventure

        One of the biggest things this film has going for it is it’s underwater photography. Beautiful landscapes of coral, Fish.Peter Benchley who wrote jaws also wrote this,Scuba Divers David Sanders and Gail Berkeley Actors Nick Nolte and Jacqueline Bisset discover a sunken treasure off the Bermuda coast. They also find a stash of narcotics. David and Gail spend the rest of the picture avoiding bad guys who stashed the drugs and want the treasure as well.

        I haven't watched this movie since new, love all the underwater sequences, which would be most of the movie, and has a decent story line, good value recommended
