    A mild adventure film for family viewing.

    This is a Disney adventure film for a family audience aimed primarily at teens and kids. It had a typically large Disney budget, so everything looks good. The adventures themselves, being midcentury Disney are very soft by today's standards and there's no fear that anyone is truly in jeopardy. The cast is what makes the film most enjoyable. Maurice Chevalier is in his usual high spirits and full of Gallic joie de vivre. Haley Mills and Michael Anderson Jr. make a winning young couple. Ample support is provided by George Sanders in his usual villainous role and British actor Wilfrid Hyde-White as Anderson's father. Fun for family viewing, but young audiences now should be told not to expect The Avengers.

    One of the worst Disney movies ever!

    Price was okay enough. Bought this to watch with a 7yr old, good thing she never saw it. Despite several good actors, nobody stuck out as giving a stellar performance. There was much violence, and a character called Bill Gaye that was terrifying and disturbing in both his appearance and actions. (he looked a lot like the figure on the cover of the Aqualung album) Movie should be rated PG13 and not G. This DVD went straightaway to the donation box

    Hayley Mills, and the other actors done wonderful acting in this movie. Maurice is more of a singer than actor. An excellent job well done.

    The best of Disney & Hayley Mills!

    I saw Summer Magic was it was originally released with my little gf’s. It was magical! We didn’t have the luxury of watching over & over at home in the “olden” days! So my mom bought the soundtrack record for me. My gf’s & I spent the entire summer dancing & singing every song over and over! ( I still can sing them all) Then I grew up, had a little girl & introduced her to the the “Ugly Bug Ball” & the wonders of Disney & Hayley Mills. Repeat performance for her & her friends—little kids/girls still love it! They watched & danced too. And now I have a granddaughter! Again to this third generation of love for Summer Magic & Hayley Mills! I remember wondering if I could change MY name to Hayley after I saw all her movies!
