Great Strap - Fast Ship - Terrific Value

Grounding my HAM Radio station, guidelines suggest using a wide flat copper strap instead of a solid or stranded core wire. Electricity travels on the outer layers of conductors and a wide flat strap allows for more physical space to be occupied by the flowing current and this strap does the job nicely. The price was right and the shipping was fast on this item. The only better grounding strap available would be a wide solid copper strap and that would cost quite a lot of money compared to this strap. Some people suggest that this wide strap might even do better than a solid strap because it is braided with strands, and that (in theory) has more surface area for electrons/electricity to flow. So after receiving a direct lightning strike on my Radio station and home recording studio, literally wiping out everything -even equipment and gear that was not connected to anything, I made sure to get the proper grounding at an affordable price. This 1/2-inch wide, flat braided strap is thick, durable, good quality, and is easy to work with. You can easily cut it using scissors and tin the ends using a simple soldering pencil and solder.
