    Jazzy Plum - Beautiful Color!

    I have often received compliments when using Mary Kay's Jazzy Plum creme lipstick. It goes on smooth, the color is even and will last most of the day. Unfortunately this color has been discontinued by Mary Kay although if you are persistent you can find it online from private distributors though usually at an increased price. I would recommend this to anyone. One thing should be noted. The picture shown here appears reddish which is not very close to the actual color. Jazzy Plum is a light to medium purple with no red or pink tint as shown here. It is definitely worth trying. I think most people will agree Mary Kay's Jazzy Plum should be returned as an available product! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

    Did not like it

    I have been using this shade of lipstick from Mary Kay for years now. This particular lipstick in silver tube is very different from their signature black tube and gold tube. The world of difference! This lipstick, unlike lipstick in a gold tube, smells terrible, has different look and texture from the one I normally use. Cannot use it or recommend it.

    the INTENSITY CONTROL has worked for me for years

    I have used the INTENSITY CONTROL lipstick for so many years now I have lost count... I am not sure what I am going to do when they run out of this discontiued item ... unfortunately, for me most lipsticks turn red on me no matter if I put base on them or any other type of lipstick to neutralize the shade .. this is just the color they prefer ... it was like a dream come true when I found this so long ago .. then when they discontinued it .. I thought my world had come to an end ...LOL .. until I found them available though eBay .. I have continued purchasing them thoroughout the years and continued enjoying and appreciating them ... I just hope and pray by some miracle they or something like it will reappear when they are no longer available at all ... I just don't understand ... I can't ...

    Mary Kay Plum Lipstick... IMO, quite possibly the best color ever made.

    Why do I continue to seek out & buy this product ? Because it is my all-time favorite Lipstick. They put this color out in several formulas over the years; my favorite is the Signature Moisturizing. It feels good, never "feathers out", lasts a long time, no funky taste, and looks right on my face (very close to the natural color of my lips). First made in the mid-1990's & then DC'd several years ago; in all of the formulas the color is perfect for me... You know how it is, you find a color which is your "go-to" both for everyday & for most dressy settings... Then the company stops making it... And, so, I turn to eBay to add to my "stockpile". (I've even told my husband to be sure to take a tube of it to the funeral home when I die... maybe a strange request, but ...

    True color pigmentation and goes on like a dream

    I've always liked MK lipstick. It has a firmness to it that gives you a good delivery of product, unlike some of the (shall I say?) greasier products that don't have staying power. Every year they come out with shades that are pretty awesome for all color types so you have a wide range of choices. I do use other lipsticks when a product catches my eye, but find I often return to MK for a superb product.
