Great looking, fast ship, poor fit in Chevy truck. Desc. says "will fit..." These knobs are manufactured unthreaded. Not mentioned in the description. After trying to install, I contacted the seller who confirmed they were manufactured unthreaded and to just screw them on. My threaded lock rods are not self tapping. I did not want to break the new knobs, so I now must find a proper tap and finish them myself. Seller did offer to replace or refund.

    Wrong threads

    The inside diameter of the pieces was sufficient to go over the threaded posts. However, they had to be re-threaded to 8mm metric to fit correctly. With the range of vehicles and years that it was supposed to fit,, I didn't expect to have to re-tap them. However, minor inconvenience as they are perfect now.

    Matches OEM style but its short

    Looks OEM but the shaft it really short. It just barely screws down far enough for the bottom to be inside the door panel.

    cheap black gm door plungers

    i put these on my 1984 c10. they feel like the threads are wrong but are working. I think there is enough plastic there to drill and tap them myself if they strip out.
