    Disappointing

    I was expecting great music like all his other songs. However, the recording was faint in sound and clarity. Without conviction. I love Alan and his music, have for years. This just wasn't up to par.

    An album for different feelings....

    Alan Jackson has a voice quality that is unique and versatile. I originally purchased the album for the song "Drive", but have come to enjoy the song "First Love" that makes me remember my first 'love' - you must listen to the song to understand the feeling. Designated Drinker is also a charming song and 'Work in Progress' was probably written about several million men. Mr. Jackson's Drive album should be any to any C&W Collector's collection. As time has provided plenty of listening pleasure, I have grown to enjoy the album.

    Drive - Alan Jackson

    This CD meant so much more after having read Denise Jackson's book, It's All About Him. You can understand Alan's words and music much more and why he wrote the way he did. He and his wife are truly a couple that are good examples for repentance, recommitment, steadfastness, and for taking a stand for Christ. It is very refreshing to hear of celebrities making the right decisions instead of all the upheaval that is going on with the majority of the other celebrities in the spotlight.
