    Our bookclub read this recently, and we all enjoyed it. It certainly had enough substance to keep a lively conversation going for a couple of hours! Peter Joseph is a young man living in Alabama during the turbulent 60's. He is being raised by his "Meemaw," but his aunt Lucille has her hands on the wheel. During one hot summer, Peter Joseph's (PEEJOE) world was turned upside down with unbelievable events orchastrated by his Aunt Lucille and the marches of Martain Luther King. The entire town went absolutely crazy. Events were bizaare but believable. Aunt Lucille had her break of a lifetime - she was invited to go to Hollywood for a screen play to appear on the Beverly Hillbillies. Her dream, since a child, had always been Hollywood.
