These replacement bushing are the perfect upgrade for my 1999 sportsman 500. By upgrade I mean instead of rebuilding the rear shocks with oem bushing these bushing are definitely a better design and without the rubber it definitely made the rear end perform way better and there is no doubt these will last. Only thing I'm kicking myself in the ass for is not ordering a second pair to put on shelf.

The will not require use of he original metal inserts of the OEM rubber bushings,

Thank you for your order. Yes, these bushings are made of an engineered polymer specifically formulated for bushing applications. They will handle the abusive environment and pounding. The shock body itself handles all the dampening of the ride. The OE rubber bushings far too quickly deteriorate with time and use. Excellent customer service! Super fast shipping and product as described. I ordered this after a couple of other items which were located closer to me, but this arrived before they did. I would love to see these bushings as 2 piece ‘top hats’ that gets pressed in from either side similar to the original. I would guess that it would cost a little more but it would be worth it so it looked like the OEM piece.
