LIVE AND LET DIE is famed Bond portrayer Roger Moore’s first turn as 007. In it, the super spy infiltrates a gang of narcotics smugglers in voodoo-infested Jamaica. His daring exploits lead him on a number of incredible chases. As the sexy Solitaire, a young Jane Seymour makes for one of the more memorable Bond girls, and the always captivating Yaphett Kotto delivers an excellent performance as one of the more grounded (and, as such, arguably more chilling) villains of the series. The film’s theme song, Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die,” is one of the highlights of the entire Bond music canon and a classic in its own right.

    Another Bond Classic!

    The debut of the best actor to portray James Bond 007- Roger Moore! This film has a little bit of everything. Dr. Kananga is a drug dealer that also plays the harlem guy Mr. Big. Solitare plays the bond girl that uses her special powers to help Kananga. Of course 007 uses his own powers on her and the stage is set for boat chases, crocodile escapes and voodoo ceremonies! Paul McCartney and the Wings perform one of the most memorable songs in the series! This film is GREAT!

    Live and let die

    I love Bond films and I love Roger Moore so I had to add this to the collection. The acting in this movie is pretty good as far as the lead characters. Moore is great in his first go around as Bond, the villian "Mr. Big" was very well done but the story and the many ways in which Bond escapes danger are unbelievable and unreal. The boat chase scene was long and really drawn out and boring. This film is for die hard Bond fans only.
