I am sorry to hear about this issue. Our screens are fully compatible with Face ID, so I want to help troubleshoot this issue. The Face ID sensor must not be properly aligned in its spot. It has a particular viewing spot to see through the screen. I recommend readjusting the sensors (on the cable that you transferred from your old screen) then reset the device. That should fix it.
