    Bush one of the reasons 1994 was great year for music

    I love everything about the band, BUSH, and their frontman, singer/songwriter, Gavin Rossdale! Sixteen Stone was one of most commercially successful albums in 1994 and one of the reasons the 90's were a great decade for rock music and alternative rock music specifically. Their grunge/post-grunge sound was great and they were a highly underrated band. There are so many hits on this first record by a great band, in my opinion. BUSH is one of the best bands to come out of England in the past 15 years or so. Buy this record if you dont already own it in your collection!

    Is your speaker system up for this Bush CD?

    A well-recorded album with great songs full of emotion and power, with lots of cymbals, and specifically with the song, "Glycerine" (TRACK 10), if you don't have true full-range speakers or don't have a true powered subwoofer system, you won't know that this song has subterranean notes that are simply breathtaking -that is if your speakers can reproduce them (which most cannot -including most subs)! This is one my few "reference" CDs that I use to audition speaker systems for overall sound quality. Happy listening!

    One of the best from the 90's

    This truely is one of the best CDs of the 90's .Its got great heart pumping music, good lyrics, and ofcourse best of all is Gavin's voice. From beginning to end its guitar riffs are strong, the lyrics although different are solid and you can really get into this cd. This band has been branded as Nirvana knockoffs but they come with an original sound and great music. Regardless of who they sound like, or how many people try to discount their talent because they came after the allmighty Nirvana, on this CD they demand respect and from me they get it as it is one of my favorite CDs of all time. If you don't already own it buy it , it is WORTH IT!
