Great carry and conceal knife for defense.
This is a high quality and well designed defense knife. The carrier fits tightly around a belt. The knife fits very tight and snug in the carrier. It is very easy to keep concealed. I chose the serrated over the straight blade.

KBAR TDI 1481.
KBAR TDI 1481 is an excellent knife for military and police operations. Has a more natural point with blade orientation and overall requires less training to employ.

Great knife!
Perfect back up. Easy to put it wherever you want. I can't tell how long it will hold an edge but I don't expect anything spectacular given the steel it is made from. That being said, I know I could easily cut a seatbelt or defend myself with it and I love the angle of the blade- you can get a lot of leverage to cut something deep and fast. For the price, I'm very happy!

Solid back up knife
It's a full tang which is hard to see on the pics. Aggressive serrations!...This thing cuts like it's angry. When fully grasped it will fit in normal sized male hands with enough pommel for your pinky to grip. Works great with weak hand draw because the ergonomics make it so easy to grasp. Sheath has had some bad press, and understandably...that said, it seats and retains well for me. Better, in fact, than other more expensive options. Solid knife, definitely would recommend for civilian use. Maybe look at the kabar tdi hellfire if you're looking for something with a safety retention button on the holster. Good, little, utility knife.
Although this knife is designed to carry for protection and would serve that purpose very well, it serves as a great everyday carry knife and is useful for cutting rope, cardboard, etc. It is also light weight and barely noticeable on the belt.
