Toasty bottoms!
My vehicle has cloth seats, so I never thought I'd need seat heaters. But traveling up North during the winter with temps dropping to the -20s!!! I needed them. I did the install myself by following instructions and had no problems. I will admit I had watched a few videos on the web about installation of these and picked up a few pointers there as well. Not a bad idea. You will need some hog ring pliers and clips for reinstallation of your seat covers, but those can be found at most retail hardware stores. I got mine at a feed store in the section on fencing repairs. And you will need some upholstery glue. Get a small spray can because you won't need that much. Or you can pay someone to install them for you. But the switches on this model match the factory switches. You cannot tell mine are not factory. The different heat settings work great and they heat up pretty fast. I've had other vehicles that came with factory seat heaters and I cannot tell the difference. They work great for me. I would buy this product again if needed.

No instructions
Be aware there are no instructions in this kit at all. There are many videos that show this kind of kit being installed but the wiring is confusing. There are three power wires?! Only one is fused. Everything else seems to be ok quality however i needed to purchase a different connector for the power wires so I could connect to accessory power so they wouldn’t stay on and drain the battery.

first look at these?????
I am very pleased thus far with this particular kit with square type switch I will mention it is a direct fit for 2012 Toyota Tacoma with lumenation is really nice makes switch easy to see at night additionally I can say the 5 way switch for hotter heat works extremely well and on the hi position I think it feels just as hot as the stock heated seats in my new Avalon they work as therapy for me honestly that's my reason for the need for Heat on my back and these are a nice feature to add relatively inexpensive and of seemingly good quality now let me say this , I am semi mechanically inclined however I would say wiring the seat is a very straight forward red positive to rear power window switch fuse black or neg I attached to a tab under the shifter cover . you will see other wires connected to that chassis tab it will work fine I believe there was 3 wires and the last was for the lumination lighted

Seat Heaters
Installed these in a 2016 Toyota 4runner. The kit is good quality and has easy to follow installation instructions. The switches fit perfectly in the factory locations on the consol and look OEM. The heating pads are of adequate size and needed minimal trimming. The wire lengths are sufficient to reach the interior fuse box location. 8 hrs total installation time for this first-time novice.

Not an easy add on, but worth the work.
The parts appear to be good quality and the switches look like original equipment when fitted in the open blanks on the console. After install the seats heat up quickly and are very comfortable. To do the install right takes some time, and a little experience in upholstery work would be beneficial. I will probably put these in all of my vehicles over time.
