    Mazda speedometer cable

    This cable was for a 21 year old car. The cable was brand new and arrived in a timely manner. Watching you tube video made installation easy and I was able to install in one half hour. Works great and was the least expensive of many i researched from other sources

    Perfect fit OEM cable

    Oem Mazda speedometer cable. Fit was perfect and no more dashboard noise! A little tough to clip into place along the firewall, but that's not a comment on the cable. Just the installation. Instlation tip: to access the clip where the cable snaps into place on the speedometer, remove the instrument cluster cowling. This exposes the clip from the top. Press down on the clip release with a screwdriver or other tool while pulling the cable from the engine side of the firewall. (It's easier if a friend does the pulling, but can be done solo if necessary.) Caution! The instrument cluster cowling may be very brittle from age and might well shatter when pried loose. It did on my 94.
