A-Ha Lifelines CD a Gem!
Finding this CD in the U.S can prove difficult. This is the bands 2002 release and it was initially available everywhere in the world except the United States. Having not toured in the U.S. for years, finding the newer A-Ha CD's can be time consuming. This CD was definitely worth the wait! ALL of the tunes on this disc are very good to excellent, including the title track LIFELINES, and some of my person favorites such as DID ANYONE APPROACH YOU? and FOREVER NOT YOURS. The album is perfextly produced and the stunning photos in the CD booklet, including the lyrics, are great! Some of the bands later CD's such as this one, ANALOUGUE, and MINOR EARTH, MAJOR SKY have been overlooked by U.S. audiences, and LIFELINES is one of those elusive gems that should be sought out for any music fan and a ... A-ha's "Lifelines" album continues their brilliant comeback established by their previous album "Minor Earth | Major Sky" - highlights include the title track, "Did Anyone Approach You" "Forever Not Yours" and "Turn the Lights Down."
